I worked with the sales team, designing solutions for prospects, responding their RFI’s and RFP’s. The sales consultant role allowed me to increase my understanding about customer needs in a different market (Panama). Besides, these solutions have been designed with specialized tools, and well documented to be delivered with a clear, technical and understandable language. In these months, we improved the response time in the proposals, leaving more than 200% in the forecast phase, relative to the previous performance.

As a software developer, I worked with high traffic websites, for the biggest banks in Venezuela. The main objective was to achieve customer satisfaction by delivering a high quality product and service. Also, I had the chance to work not only with full-stack but to manage the cloud infrastructure used to host these projects, with AWS and Microsoft Azure.

I was member of the Ruby on Rails team, developing a couple of projects for an American and a Panamanian client. Being in this team, I developed an automatic pattern recognition module using computer vision, to integrate it with this RoR project through a web service.

Finally, I developed a business process monitoring platform, for a Mexican client with operations in Venezuela, with the goal of deliver real time metrics to the C-level positions of the company, and thus increase their sales.

In this role, I guided clients in Caracas, Panamá and Miami, so I had to travel to this cities to get requirements, show progress, clarify questions and deliver the products. I optimized internal processes to improve team’s performance managing source code, to reduce response time and respect SLA’s, to deliver modules according to the scheduling, and to increase customer satisfaction rates. With my leadership, my team has been working to deliver excellent service, in a 24/7 schedule, to 27 projects throughout these years.

As a freelance developer, I worked with some smaller projects, delivering the same product and service quality. Two Colombian and a Puerto Rican client have expressed their satisfaction with these solutions, which have performed as tools to improve the operational performance.

My role was to teach about 60 students about computer systems, and to help them to understand theoretical material with practical examples. I had to create projects and assignments in MIPS32 architecture and C++, and evaluate each one.
